Gameplay wise it's so you don't just die in the last area, but if you've cleared three relics, you're overqualified at this point.
Well that's annoying, I guess I'll just have to get a walkthrough on the blood boss. There's not enough randomness or challenge for 5 levels to be interesting...
I actually stopped playing after my last crash because I just couldn't stomach going thru even half the relic dungeons again.
A treasure goblin (on fire) destroyed a crucial pressure plate of the 6th floor of veils last night and I - just couldn't bring myself to do it all over again, especially because it was my second attempt after a foolish death.
Long. Tedious. And deflating if something goes wrong.
Also the fact that food rots REALLY quickly, so it's almost impossible to keep enough food to survive a reasonably long time.
I've found that eating rotten food isn't even that bad. It's just some status build-up. If you get sick from it, you can just wait it our or cure it with a potion.
FOUR HOURS to get CLOSE to the top of the Tower, and one stupid Gazer kills me because Deathly Sick and my stupid Wolf Specter NOT touching the damn thing!
The relic dungeons are WAY too long, especially The Tower.
