Forged Ship Title+how to beat S

Does anyone know what the purpose is of the forged ship title/where you can sell it? Also has anyone figured out how to beat slathera

You should absolutely not sell it, this forged ship title allow you to use a boat, which is important for completing the game

You can simply ride the boat next to Moon-upon-toss on the world map, just go left and you'll be at sea

to me it works fine, are you sure you have it in your inventory?

Try entering the ship from the world map. I.e. once you have a forged title, step onto moon-upon-thoss tile then go left onto the ship.
