Peformance is same like the fullscreen game(at least for me)
Duno about 3d mode, maybe you should try it and report back with the result since I don't have 3D, but I think it will work no problem.
No, the picture doesn't freeze when moving the window and even when the window is not on top.

.....that's not windowed mode...that's just using a streaming software -_-. It will also put extra strain on your pc.

Please don't comment if you didn't test it yourself.
This IS windowed mode and will NOT hit your performance since you are not actually streaming anything, you using "Preview Mode"

I stream all the time with this software. Why don't you take a look at your temps when you are previewing, while running the game.

Edit: There is also added delay this way that is unacceptable for a fighting game. This might have seemed like a great idea that no one ever thought of, but in restrospect, it's really terrible.

I don't know about you mate, but to me it works awesome, with just the preview window, no noticeable lags and performance hits. Also, since the rendering settings for the tool is auto set to 720p you can also set your ingame settings at that res to compensate for the temps or performance hits you may have.
I'm not saying its the best solution, but it is a nice workaround untill a proper windowed mode is implementet withing the game

I mean, there is no real alternative right now so I really do appreciate you posting this. I just wanted to point out that it's not as ideal as an actual windowed mode via the game. Thanks again for posting this.

So how does this work then...? I don't get it. You are saying that it adds a bit of input lag, but yet again, I cannot feel or notice anything like that, its perfectly fine to me, and in a matter of fact I did play few rounds like that and I won.
Is it possible to be something in the tool settings that may cause that delay in the preview window?

Yeah, I think it's setting dependent and has to do with the type of monitor you use. I am really heavy into fighting games so I can feel input delay really easily.

This is getting deeper and deeper man, really, when you think about it, it may be actually everything. It may be the CPU, GPU, Drivers, Monitor, Controller, 3rd party apps running in the background, and pretty much everything you can think of.
So... IMO, Test it, and see if it works for you, or not. Again... not the best solution, but it's a nice workaround until proper windowed mode is implementet within the game.

Doesn't seem to work when using a mouse and keyboard seeing as the game is being run in the background.

Running OBS as a ghetto way to get a windowed mode is almost entirely unhelpful.
