Raiden vs Shao Khan - Tips?!

Rly... I tried it many hours... and I can't beat him ._. i need tips!
Well, I'm a Mortal Kombat newb, I played MK3 for the SNES for about 1 or 2 hours... nothing more. So I'm a newb at all.

get close, jump over, do combo followed by his horizontal flight special. repeat.
This way Shao Kahn whiffs most of his attacks.

go to the main menu, go to gameplay options, turn the story difficulty to beginner and just spam electricity balls at him. Lol if you wanna be a noob like me do that :P

Alternative - stay away, wait until he does a taunt or slow attack, teleport and punch him.
Repeat until he's dead (and save your energy for XRay)

YAY I fkked him... on Beginner with the lightning dash thing... xD.

Run away from him until he taunts you. At that moment do your horizontal flying attack. Then retreat again. Rinse and repeat.

Shao Kahn's AI is very predictable and easily manipulated to allow for easy victories. Also, Raiden has by far the easiest time with him. Stay far away until he throws a projectile, teleport, combo him. As he gets up, jump over him. His AI will generally choose to do his hammer uppercut at you which will miss. Combo again. Jump over him again. Proceed until he's dead (this works with everyone).

Keep your distance. Shao Kahn is very slow at attacking far away opponents but can easily destroy people when they are close.

haha on medium all I did was the raiden push over and over and kept my distance.
