Can't even complete the tutorial

Seriously, there's like a fraction of a millisecond to press all the buttons involved or something? This game is clunky as ♥♥♥♥.

There are no such a small fraction. In fact the fraction is huge, compared to SF and anime fightings. You are doing something wrong, man.

You just gotta get use to it. Slide your thumb from the first button to the second and then press the third and youll get the feel for it.

I tried with my controller and my keyboard until i raged like a mad ♥♥♥♥. Seems totally random when a combo will fire correctly, even the simple jab combo is 50/50. This is clearly some kinda supersperg game for the AD-HD twitchkiddie crowd, christ what a wasted purchase. Might try it again if i feel like getting massivly frustrated.

This game uses a buffering system, if you can't do the combos you are just terribad sorry. In fact you can jump in with a punch and hit out of the rest of the combo before you even land and it will go off.

Have you played a game like streetfighter before? and even If so forget everything you learned there this game is completely different.

OP is new to fighting games. Sit there for an hour trying to nail what it asks you to do. if you still cant do it give up now. not the games fault.

Figured it out, there is some kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going on in the tutorial. As soon as i went into practise or played the game combos were eay to pull off.

I am new to fighting games too. Maybe 1 in 5 times a combo I do will actually trigger even if I repeat the same button presses every time.

i think the tutorial is bugged, at some point you can;t do the asked combo, and thats fairly early

You just need practice, the combos are perfectly fine.

The tutorial is somewhat weird tho. Anyway, try to execute the combos slower than you might think they need to be, there are animations to consider. And i found playing female characters works for me since they seem to be afair bit more agile. I'm sure there are agile male characters also tho, but after falling for Sindels fightingstyle i've been a bit focused.

I was stuck at the X A Y combo tutorial, but thanks to rabidweazelz suggestion about trying to slide from first button to second and press third, I did get the feel for it! Thanks rabidweazelz!

Ain't that hard bro,just push the buttons a bit faster you don't need to see the animation moving to execute a combo on mk.If you want to make a special move into the combo affter pressing the punches kick just input the special move.(Remeber there is no reason to wait for the animations evrything you input it will come out)

Remember with a keyboard you cant press much keys like 3 or 4 together, so do two keypress is fine.

Sorry to hear that your tutorial was bugged. Sucked that it gave you a bad impression on the game.

Combos, and linking them togetherare my favorite part of this game, and where I draw most enjoyment from.


nothing as satisfying as getting a %60 juggle combo on a Online game in round 3 for the win.
