This is the very reason why PC is the premier gaming platform - v-e-r-s-a-t-i-l-i-t-y.
P.S runs like a charm on HD4000
P.P.S. mostly unplayable on keyboard(( will buy a gamepad tomorrow
I suppose the above information can be used just in case someone was wondering about there Surface Pro. I knew someone would figure out a way around the graphics card limitation. Now we just need to get it running on lower specs. :)
Thanks for this post.
Please post the whole Display Devices section... my dxdiag can't determinate memory info... shows n/a although I set everything to use the nvidia card, even run with nvidia - dxdiag - still shows intel and N/A
windows 8.1 preview, latest nvidia drivers, latest intel hd drivers, nvidia gt 630m, i7 (intel hd 4000), 32 gigs ram
upd1: installing nvidia driver from windows update instead of a manual install of the latest driver from nvidia.com - fixed the crash. now it's only slow-mo :)
upd2: fixed slow-mo by turning antialiasing off in nvidia control panel
Just got this game at a fab price, for a fab game. Thanks steam. Thought i'd help out some fellow PC Intel 4000 owners, to get it working.
Type %AppData% in run, scroll to the MKKE folder, adjust the resolution numbers, to match your desktop in the options file, type true to configured, and delete false, make read only in properties.
Change the ded mem, from 32mb to 1024 in dxdiag, and make read only in properties.
Shazaam.
P.S If you delete the whole MKKE folder in AppData, it will replace itself next time the game is run, then you can set up the files properly, if you dont get it right first time, HEHE
