What?! Higher resolution rendering and higher resolution textures doesn't equate better graphics? There's no 'IMO' about it mate.... It's just a higher fidelity version of the same game, it isn't an opinion.
I own the game on the Xbox, and a few months ago, i got it free on the PS3 through playstation plus. There is no doubt the graphics are much better on the PC version. Not just the resolution and the AA. but the shadows and textures are much nicer too. I've noticed the graphics in the cut scenes are not as good as the actuall game, even though i thought they were rendered in real time ..... Maybe they just robbed them off the consoles :D
Indeed, I did mention better textures- clearly they are higher resolution than would be nothing but wasted at the 720p (or lower) of the consoles.
It is indeed the fact that the scrappy looking cutscenes are a very good idea of how it looks on consoles.
One has to remember the added clarity of a PC monitor, and the upped resolution shows up the graphical limitations of UC3 engine, it's somewhat old-fashioned looking shaders and generally flat geometry.
