DS4 controller issues.
So, I'm using DS4windows (Current version of DS4tool) to use my DS4 to play my PC games, but I've ran into some trouble with MK9. It seems to think I have a fightstick and a 360 controller plugged in at the same time. Which makes local multiplayer impossible.

However, if I don't use DS4windows it just accepts it as a fightstick. Problem here is the button icons are all kinds of not right. For anyone who knows the universal fighting game lingo it should be:
1=square, 2=triangle, 3=X, and 4=O.

Instead it goes in a circle with Square still being 1, but X is 2, and so on. It makes the movelists incredibly confusing and some challenger tower missions honestly impossible for me because the other number association is so ingrained in me from years of playing fighters.

Anyone have any ideas as to how I could make my PC stop recognizing my ds4 without the use of DS4windows? If it actually recognized it as a playstation controller it wouldn't be a problem.

I think its optimized for xbox controller coz of windows. Lot easier to set ps controller to xbox mode with ds4 then playing like that.

I use DS4 gamepad + bluetooth connection (DS4Windows build 1.5.20.14017) and i have wire connect xbox360 controler. Well, i dont' have such a problems. Official DS4 controller is not supported on PC. You can't put into the game PS icons. Install xbox360 drivers and setup settings in DS4Windows. Profiles - New Profile etc... Not so hard. Maximum u can play with xbox360 icons in game

I know the DS4 is not officially supported, but what I am saying is if I have my DS4 plugged in (without using DS4windows) MK9 thinks it is a fightstick. If I use DS4windows it thinks I have a 360 controller (what I want it to think) *AND* a fightstick plugged in at the same time. Meaning one controller is controlling player 1 and player 2. That is the problem I am trying to resolve.

From Russian PS forum

"Hi, try the following:

1) Plug gamepad as usual.

2) Before you include mode "Hide DS4", turn off the gamepad buttons Share + Home

3) Turn on the mode Hide DS4

4) re-enable gamepad buttons Share + Home.

Wireless controller should disappear from the device list in the program DS4Tool. If both devices are lost, reinstall the driver and do it all over again."

Try
