Hey Sewpar,
thanks for the answer.
I opend the Advanced option, and the connection was already as "close" option setup'd,
didn't found other options in the menu.
Also both players got the lag problems in the game, bewteen the connection ingame?
Is ther already Information's, if Mortal Kombat X host's (Servers?) will be like Mortal Kombat 9?
Because finding german players isn't that easy in Mortal Kombat (It's also banned in our store's, because of brutallity).
cheers.
I agree that the netcode in both this game and Injustice are terrible. The fact that both games don't have both connection quality filtering and region filtering options is laughable. Any fighting game without both of those filtering options is automatically unplayable online because a player will likely get matched against people with weak hardware and/or a bad connection.
I will stay in Single player for now on, will hope Mortal Kombat X will dont be geo-locked in germany, and the connection isn't that bad like in Mortal Kombat 9.
Maybe I can have my fun then too, in multiplayer/online. Mortal Kombat 9 diffently makes no fun anymore to me in multiplayer/online.
Cheers.
The single player in this game sucks. The single player modes for the most part have no replay value. The AI will read your button inputs on the higher difficulties, but offer little resistance on normal and lower difficulties.
Yes I know.
I already see the Ai plays, they can see within a second, if you dont use your block anymore. It's like playing against a Cheating Ai. But I think there is no other way to make the game more difficulty in fight games. I wasn't suprised of the story mode, fight -> story -> fight -> to the end. But I still play it in Normal difficulty / hard difficulty, thats enaugh to me. I also like this game more than Street fighter, so I will look forward what I will do.
Cheers.
Yep, as is my right. If I have something relevant to contribute to a thread, then I'll do so if I feel like it. Since this thread is about lag in the online multiplayer, I decided to post my opinion on the matter.
To answer your question, I do have other things to do with my free time, but I felt like posting in this thread since the topic of the lag interests me. The bad netcode in both this game and Injustice could affect early sales of Mortal Kombat 10 due to NRS having a legacy of having terrible online functionality in their games.
Another reason that the online in this game is bad is that character selection isn't blind by default. The hidden cursor is anti-useful because one can't see their own cursor, which makes it easy to get the wrong character if there is lag on the select screen.
