TERRIBLE Framerate issues
I got this game when it was on sale for $5 and I must say.. it is the WORST port i've ever played. It's worse than GTA 4, Dark Souls 2, Bioshock 2, it's pitiful and just tries to suck.

When I first launched the game, I was able to hit around 40 fps max settings. Terrible for a fighting game, so I toned down settings. What happens is that once I did that, the framerate would increase initially, but once things started to get intense (or someone does an X-Ray), the framerate would drop from a stable 60 FPS to 35 fps and STAY THERE for the rest of the game. About a week later, the problem magically fixed itself and would never drop lower than 54 fps (which only lasted about a second). Today, the problem came back. Is there a reason why this port is so bad? I've tried updating my drivers (which might of been the reason why it started to work) now, it's trash again.

I wasn't expecting much since the game was released by High Voltage Software (My god their Zone of the Enders port was laughably terrible), but the fact that the game looks worse than the PS3 version whie running at a lower framerate is astounding and ridiculous.

I'm running a:
GT750m
i7-4700 MQ
8 GB 1600 MHz RAM
15.6 1920x1080 screen
GeForce 344.11 Driver
GPU Temp ranges from 70 - 80 degrees

Lenovo Y510p

I'm perfectly aware of the fact that my computer is more of a entertainment grade laptop, and that I should not expect enthusiast grade performance, but keep in mind of what I said before- "About a week later, the problem magically fixed itself and would never drop lower than 54 FPS" And this is with the settings unaltered from before.

Deleting my current GeForce drivers and reinstalling the old ones has not proven to be useful in any way.

PC Specs?

In my opinion PS3 is the worst version as far as framerate goes. Maybe you are referring to the low resolution cutscenes? IMO the game looks just as good or better than my 360 version.

I have an old i5 760 and a gtx 660sc and the game runs fine. Maybe check your drivers or something.

OP, are you even trying to fix your issues? You didn't give us your PC specs, driver version, in-game settings, nothing. This thread is just a rant, nothing else. The game works great on my E8400 oc'd to 3.66 GHz, GTX 650 Ti, 4GB RAM, Windows 8.1 and NVIDIA 337.88 drivers

it works fine on me :) maybe show pc specs and settings. maybe we can work fr there.

cooling might be factor, my old gpu's fan got busted, only noticed it because games' frame drop

Updated the description. Also note that the other games I usually play (Far cry 3, Battlefield 3, Dota 2) didn't have a noticble framerate drop. But I do notice a lot more microstuttering in CSGO....

Alright, here's the deal: Turn Anti Aliasing to H-FXAA in-game, this way you'll get better performance and it's mandatory for online experiences. Even if you don't play online, you should turn it to H-FXAA (if you don't mind the jaggies). Turn off Transparency AA completely. I find the 337.88 drivers best for my graphics card, and the later drivers make the performance worse for me (in games like Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance or GTA IV). I appreciate the help. Unfortunately, switching the grahpical settings to H-FXAA and turning off Transparency AA didn't show any signs of framerate improvement. Thanks for trying though

terrible hardware = terrible port? oh i see :rfacepalm:

Lack of intelligence = terrible post? Seems legit.

If you took the slightest bit of time and looked up MK9 low fps or MK9 PC problems, you would know that i'm not the only one with problems. Next time, don't waste anybody's time making troll posts that don't do anything to contribute to helping the issue.

because you are not the only one who try to play with bad laptops/hardware...it is more trolling to open a thread and blame the devs for your hardware.

don t get me wrong, you own a fine laptop but most of laptops can t handle stable 60fps and thats why some devs didn t optimize it for mobile cpu/gpu´s...i guess if you used the same money for a desktop pc you never had any problems with this "bad" port.

Well i'm just going to stop arguing here. Despite the fact that I TOLD you to search other forums for the problems, you still refuse to and instead argue with me with facts pulled from a uneducated opinion. Just because you can run it, doesn't mean everyone else can.

And do me a favor and look at my steam library. Bioshock Infinite runs fine on high, Borderlands 2 runs on almost ultra, and I could just keep going on. Actually, I just realized now that you didn't even read the entire topic. It clearly says that the game worked fine without altering settings, and the next day it started having issues.

Should I also mention that I've seen people running this game at a stable framerate with older and weaker MOBILE GPU's?

i would like to point out that i am running on a

Nvidia 9800GT (note this is a 512mb graphics card)

8 GB of RAM (DDR2 ram)
1680x1050 resolution

i run this game fine on these settings, no slow downs, no framerate issues, more than i can say for injustice >.>

GRANTED i am on a desktop so yeah...
