Hi Lads,
Getting beat in Story - Chapter 3 - Cyrax/Sektor 2v1 -- any tips?

What is the name of the "Get Over Here / chain" combo move?

This 2v1 BS is such nonsense....why cant we call in reinforcements and go 3v2? Because that wouldnt be fair now would it? :)

Can you change difficulty settings in Story Mode? It never gave me the option - just started it?

You can find it in the options in the main menu.

That's not useful in the slightest towards actually learning the game.

Fighting bots is the first step to learning to play, even if it's 1v2.

Thanks fellas, appreciate the advice...

i did try spamming 'grab' at first lol....but sektor and cyrax have long distance weapons - missiles etc - that just do too much damage so then i learnt to block almost continuously...

The spear combo is effective as well so im sure ill get through it with patience...

i realize i will get absolutely skooled online so dont plan to go there for a bit anyways, but another issue might bet that im playing K&M and think i might have to suck it up and switch to controller to be more effective

if you really want to learn stuff try the challenge tower, it teaches you specific moves and has you practice them

Mouse and keyboard is just as effective as controller for this game (and probably this game only) since there's none of the half circle or quarter circle stuff. I play mouse and keyboard and do just as well as numerous controller users.

Thats great to hear....i rebound the keys to as close to the old arcade 6 button layout on my keyboard as I could manage and thought K&M would do well in this game...

the other issue prob is that with story mode since you keep switching fighters and learn new combos you just dont get very good with any particular one..

still...i do want to finish story mode :)
