URGENT,how to defeat Shao Kahn in story mode using Liu Kang?

I kept trying but I kept losing,I had tried many methods,such as uppercutting,using bicycle kick,etc but nothing worked,can anyone tell me how to defeat Shao Kahn,any help is appreciated.

Try to get out of his range. Then when he is taunting attack and go back again. You can do this until you defeat him or just leave him with low hp and wait until the time is over (your hp must be higher).

I just kept randomly retreating.Somehow,this made Shao Khan laugh every time,giving me enough time to make an uppercut.

You could just spam the fire ball aswell then dodge if he gets closer.

Keep your distance, and stay away from corners no matter what, because if he corners you you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Also, spamming projectiles, jump kicking, and uppercutting him whenever he boosts up worked for me.

just wait until he throws his hammer at you, and then jump punch and combo him, repeat this until you win, he's so easy in every dificulty if you do what i said

stay out of his range, dodge his projectiles and when he taunts throw a flameball, really cheap but works.

You can jump over him and immediately uppercut him, stay close though otherwise he will shoulder bash you. Instead of an uppercut, you could do a combo on him but I don't play as that character so I don't know any.

This is how I beat him on hard at least: I did what the dude above me did and I also spammed the hell out of his fireball. If you just shoot one fireball after another from across the screen, it will chip away at his HP until you win. The other benefit of doing this that I saw was he does his taunt in a series of semi-random intervals after blocking so much. Use this opportunity to bicycle kick him, then repeat.

I found beating him with Raiden ten times harder as spamming didn't seem to work that well, I ended up teleporting after he attacks to get a sweep kick over and over again, only thing that worked for me after loosing a hundred times...
