Mortal kombat 10 release date & platforms leaked

It has been a while since we got a unoficial confirmation that MK10 was under development months ago by an actor who said that he worked on it. That how we learned about MK9 and Injustice pc versions months before their official annoucments it waa also by a retal leak. So as we see here MK 10 will come to pc and consoles at the same time on November. I expect official annoucment and gameplay traieler possibly in E3 that will be June 10-12 2014!! However i am not going to buy(and i advice you to not buy it) at day one of release until we see how the online is. After the terrible online of MK9 and injustice we must be very careful before we make the decision to buy another WB fighter if we want it for online multiplayer. Still it is great to see that a new mortal kombat game will be released in the coming months.

It is a fighting game and fighting games are best played online. Very few people play offiline fighters nowdays. I am realy surprised that MK managed to see mire than 3 million with so bad online. Maybe all those people who bought it didnt know about the problems with onlinw there is no other exopanation

Do you remember when fighting games first came out? I do! and it was always played with a friend beside you

Don't get me wrong, I want the online MP to be great for MK10 as well, but online MP doesn't make the game, and fighting games are always more fun with a friend sitting next to you, opposed to playing with some randomer stranger over the internet!

Huh? Fighting games are always best played with someone sitting next to you, so you can rub it in their face.. I have a friend who gets really competative so it's always fun to see him get pissed off whenever I beat him at a fighting game..

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to turn this into an arguement.. That's not what I'm trying to do, I'm just simply saying Mortal Kombat 9 is still a good game, even if the online multiplayer has got flaws

You are probably right though, as it happens most of my friends are too busy nowadays to play games, they've got wives, kids and jobs to deal with.. But none of my real life friends play on PC, they play on consoles so it's not llike I even get to play online with them.. Which is why it's nice to have local mp games for the odd occasion when someone does come round and wants to game

I just kinda miss the old days when local MP was king, oh the times I had as a kid playing goldeneye, tekken, and mario kart splitscreen.. Doing games of tekken or mortal kombat where winner would stay on, and the loser would have to watch as the other 2 people play

You can't put a price on those kind of memories! But at the same time online MP is nice because then you've ALWAYS got someone to play with, no matter time of day or night, they'll be someone online when you feel a game, but I still feel local mp is my favourite when it comes to fighting games :3

i'm a 24 university student who has never met anyone who plays fighting games besides myself (except rampant amounts of Smash), nor are there any arcades with a "scene" near me, so without online multiplayer these games are pretty useless to me

The thing is Neatherrealm, previously aka Midway Games have never acheived a stable online play since their first online game MKD (Mortal Kombat Deception). The game was broken to ♥♥♥♥ plus the net code and so was MKA, MK vs DC that followed.

I held off Injustice because of how bad MK9 was but again they still managed to fubar it again, so dont expect a stable online net code for MK 10, as I have lost faith in them. Just look at SFIV and Soul Calibur V online. Capcom and Namco Bandai have it sorted and it is no way near as broken as MK is.

Hopeful news about online reboot for MK9!
