XBOX 360 Controller bad game config?
I bought the game for the PC and I really like the PC Version but there is one thing going on my nerves. The D-Pad seems to have a bad control in the game. When I try to make special attacks it often fails because the game doesnt recognize the combination.
I have this game for PS Vita and I can say that the D-Pad Control there is a lot better.
Is there any fix for this? Configs maybe?
Or is there a way to use my PS Vita as controller?

First time I having a problem in a game with the XBOX 360 Controller.
Yes its original btw. No bad copy.

Yeap same problem here.. you press back > forward and it jumps back or forward... impossible for quick combos...

yep, makes getting anything higher than a 7 or 8 hit combo a nightmare. I have reasonably quick reactions but the timing on this is beyond punishing, when and if the controller inputs do as I ask. I would buy a fightstick but I was quoted £180 for a Razer one in my local game store and that was the only one they had "which would take a week or two to deliver if we ordered it today, which we won't". No funny handshakes getting that sorted for me either.

Wow guys... I have never had that problem since I got a new PC. On my old system I had that problem, but not on my new one. This game is not well optimized & you have to have a pretty beefy rig for it to play flawlessly. I am sure that input lag is from a lack of horsepower.

Definitely not. Look my rig in the profil.
Permantely 60FPS and Ultra Settings...
This is the Unreal Engine 3. Old actually.
For me it just seems like that the game isnt optimized for the controller.
Or in the other way.

Well both of my controllers work flawlessly on this game. Madcats Wired Xbox 360 controller for Windows, & Wireless Logitech F710 gamepad. You do have a great system by the way. Just slightly weaker than mine. ;) Maybe it ia an AMD problem? My new system is Intel/nVidia.

I cant belive that this is caused by hardware. Doesnt seem to be a hardware problem.
Did you played the console Version? PS3 or PS Vita? Maybe you just dont know the difference between them. The Sony Consoles have a lot better Combo controlling. Maybe because of the better D-Pad. Maybe you are just used to the XBOX 360 Controller. But I have to say looks like im getting used to it in the game even if I still think the Sony controller is better...
Actually I think the main cause is the D-Pad of the XBOX Controller.

Those edges cause bad controlled combos. At least in games like Mortal Kombat.
For other sort of games they are maybe better. But Mortal Kombat doesnt ignore them and thats annoying. Any way to disable specific D-Pad Axis values? Would be great and fix the problem.
Actually I prefer the Playstation controller over the XBOX Controller anyway. But the XBOX Controller is easier to use with Windows...

I also have the PS3 & 360 versions of this game. The PC version is much more responsive for me. However I still can't play online with the PC version. I have only been able to play SP & local MP. :( Also check into a wireless Logitech F710 gamepad. I have one of those also & it is designed exactly like a PS3 controller. Also it has a Xinput & Directinput selector switch. That way it can even be used on games that do & do not have 360 controller support. It comes with a Logitech Profiler software that allows you to program the controller to KB&M controls.
