D3D error 0x8007007e
Needing help, it does the first time setup and right after its done it shows the Mortal Kombat logo than this D3D Error 0x8007007e pops up, I try googling but no help,
I am on a Laptop with windows 8.

GPU-Geforce GT 650M
CPU-Intel Core i5-3201m @ 2.50GZ
Memory-8.00 GB RAM
Res-1366 x 768 60Hz
Driver Ver-337.88

It might be cuz im on a laptop but than idk. any help would be great.

a bit late i'm afraid, but I resolved this by installing directx 9.0c runtime: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113

Laptop GPU's are not the same as there desktop GPU's of the same kind. That is why mostly all games don't support mobile GPU's. Cause mobile GPU's are not as powerful as desktop GPU's.

Indeed, but that doesn't really have anything to do with a d3d initialization error unless I'm missing something.
