Redist Package
so i've been trying to get this game to run on my new pc, but it wont launch, it tells me a side-by-side installation failed or something, looked online and found out it has to do with a c++ redist thing, so i installed it (didnt restart pc, might need to do that...) but it still didnt work!

any clue how to fix?

Had this problem last week.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

I installed every main version of these packages, even the 32-bit ones. Before that, I only installed the 64-bit ones and still got that error.

So, Steam recently merged all the C++ packages to the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\vcredist

Go in there and install all of them and/or repair your C++ packages. Should clear the issue for you.

I have downloaded and repaired all of the C++ packages but error still occurs. Any other ideas? I really want to enjoy this game

found what im missing but don't really know where to locate it.

It says I am missing the "Microsoft.VC90.OpenMP,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8""

Where can I get this?
