Final boss is stupid as heck

I know it’s an old game that probably will never be fixed, but I’d like to point out the Shao Kahn in the final boss battle was the most lamest thing I ever did. I teleported behind him, swept, and then repeated 20 times in order to wreck him, with some dodging involved. It was so lame and repetitive, and probably the worst final boss fight I’ve ever reached and beaten. You can’t even use kombos or grab him, which is so dang lame. The storyline killed off so many characters, making it ridiculous to watch. The story triggers me in which sindel kills jaxx, Stryker, and Kabal while sparing Sonya blade and Johnny Cage. She kills Kitana as well but still so lame. The mind control aspect is stupid, Stryker as a character is just filler, and overall the story mode was just garbage.

Final bosses aren't supposed to be easy. Yes usually shao kahn can be an annoying little brat and its your opinion the story is trash and it is also quite true, it's stupid how sindel killed them all single handedly. If you lower the difficulty to the lowest in settings and learn some skills and actual combos you may be able to defeat him, it's easy for me to defeat him because I train with raiden. If you really think the story is trash and you hate the game then leave it, if you were dedicated to fight shao kahn and defeat shao kahn then within 5 minutes of training you can learn combos or special moves that might actually help instead of spam sweeping and barely doing any damage to him because he has greatly reduced damage and can occasionally be immune to being knocked down. All im saying is git gud or get off.

And based on this review I wouldn't suggest at all you buy MKX if you don't already have it, because you'll probably also write a guide raging on the storyline and corrupted shinook boss fight. And I won't be there to tell you to git gud or get off.

Actually I beat him pretty easily, cause I was spamming teleport like I said, but the first fight with Shao Kahn is also pretty stupid, only way to beat him with lui Kang is by spamming projectiles.

I’m pretty good, I already beat the game, but I never spent time to learn kombos or anything technical, just special moves. If I was to fight people then I might have difficulty, but I got the game with my friend (he mains scorpion, I use Johnny Cage) and I just screw around with Johnny’s specials/grabs. Story mode was not hard at all, and I played on medium.

What I wanted to say was that the story and boss fights for Shao Kahn is lame. That’s all I wanted to say, and thanks for telling me it translates into MK 10 cause I def. won’t buy

BTW the bad game translates into the dead multiplayer; as evidenced by the fact that I’ve never been able to get matched with somebody on casual 1v1 or somebody in a room.

Glad we sorted that out, sorry for my 'agression' because as quite a big MK fan myself and it sounded like you didn't train at all and you tried defeating shao kahn but raged and made a guide on it. Happy gaming.

It’s okay to defend a series that you like, but at least you can admit that it has some serious faults. Of course I’m not an 8 year old that just played hungry hungry hippos with the keyboard. I legit had to write down note cards to learn character specials so I could use them on enemies.
Thanks again for not telling me to get mk 10, i’d probably refund it if netherrealm repeated the garbage boss format and half ass writing.
