Side-by-side configuration error

So, I just got MK9 today, installed it just fine. But when I go to launch the game I get the error you see in the title. Could someone give me advice on what to do to fix this, preferably in layman's terms, I don't understand PC Commands and manual troubleshooting that well. My rig is an i7 9750H + 2080 Max-Q laptop. ty
