Since you have the quest 3, I'd recommend you keep the chest and elbow tracking from Virtual desktop.
And how exactly do you keep only the chest and elbow tracking from VD while using the lower body tracking of standable?

Is it the whole second paragraph how to do it?

When you calibrate them in a.e. in Vrchat go into T-pose and wait until the standable trackers for arms and chest turn blue. If not, move a bit while tposing.
After that, complete the standable calibration.

I found out if you keep all VD trackers, it sometimes gets confused and tracks both resulting in some funny leg positions.
Like 1 leg standable 1 leg VD.

You can disable the lower trackers from VD with the Config tool ( https://github.com/DenTechs/Virtual_Desktop_Body_Tracking_Configurator )
So you only have the VD trackers for upper body active and standable for the lower body.
For me personally, since i always use standable and VD together, it works better that way.

Keep in mind that when you use standable for lower body, you cant do stuff like bend over anymore because the hips are controlled by standable. And your lower body instead moves with you.
You could also use the hips from VD and it works too, but then you legs will slide a bit in the direction you looking at.

I assume you could deactivate the lower trackers of Virtual Desktop with the Tool from Github.

And then use thr legs from this. But dunno if it works.

Edit: it works just fine.

Yes, you can combine this with virtual desktop. The Standable trackers are significantly better than Virtual desktop from the hips down. Since you have the quest 3, I'd recommend you keep the chest and elbow tracking from Virtual desktop.

When you calibrate, after the standable trackers snap into position, you just move your body until the vive trackers are closer to the standable trackers, and then pause for a bit. The vive trackers will disappear, and the standable trackers will turn green when they are linked with the vive trackers. After you click your triggers and drop your hands to your side to exit calibration mode, go back to your standable window. The standable trackers that are linked to the vive trackers will be green. You can disable and re-enable the standable trackers that you don't want to be linked to the vive trackers to make those trackers use the default standable tracking.
