When I start Standerd VR and ping calibrate FBT on the VRChat side with 8 trackers displayed it seems to have worked fine
I found a way to disable shoulder tracking in the launch options

For the time being, I was able to confirm the behavior of sleeping in VRC, so I think this is quite a game changer.
According to the link Raki posted, you can add the launch argument --disable-shoulder-tracking to vrchat on steam to do it
