Just something I realized and I wish I had sooner...
To level up Jonathan's subweapons, you don't need to kill the enemy with it... just hit it once with it and then kill it with your main, you'll still get the SP.

Yup. You can even do it when playing as Charlotte solo- just summon Jonathan with R, and as long as that weapon hit, you'll get SP even in Jonathan isn't even on screen.

Thankfully I noticed this early on. Felt stupid for cream pieing every enemy to death in the city of haze but fortunately it doesn't take much MP to cream pie.

Yep that's how you farm SP on the two minotaures. With master ring you'll need around 1500~ kills to max out everything. Took me 3h at best to do, and everytime I replay this game I just rush straight to this room just to farm because statchecking everything in the game after is pretty fun imo.

Best rooms I found to grind SP is either in the City of Haze in the outdoor area with zombies/slingers or in the Nation of Fools with the long vertical room full of Fleamen

So the grenade gets easier to upgrade.

The room with the two minotaure is kinda one shot with vampire killer and 40 SP, so I don't think there's a better room for this since it's also the room you'll need to farm money (bullova sells for 10k and is a normal loot, just go +60 luck with charlotte).

Yep, I also found out that you can use the effects of Charlotte's LUCK boost at full cast with Jonathan... all I had to do is full cast it, call Jonathan, switch and dismiss Charlotte. Another thing I understood very late in the run...

I honestly never bothered with leveling Jonathan. Charlotte was just too fun to use.
