Does the actual in game saving function, or are you just always supposed to use the L2 menu saving? I fired up the game and there weren't any actual game saves. Not the end of the world, but it's a little annoying to have to menu save every time I use a save room.

In-game saving works, I haven't used the save states at all.

Weird, I don't get it. I've used tons of save rooms in DoS, but if I reset the game and try to load like you normally would all my saves are empty.

Ok, I'm kinda dumb. I didn't realize that the game was defaulting to "No" when asked to save.
