Is there not a full screen option?
Like. Look. I can deal. I can just maximize the screen, that's like. Workable.

But there's no screen settings, is there really no way to full screen this collection? Is it really only windowed?

That feels so bizarre.

Or am I just so sick I am missing something obvious, because I AM at least one of these things.

Alt+Enter will go to fullscreen but if you are above 1080p you will have a white line at the top. At least that is how it is for me at 1440p.

Try alt+enter?

Ah, yep, that works. And indeed there's a white line at the top, a little bit to the left side too. Like it's improperly aligned. Hopefully there's a patch at some point

Lmao I'll deal with it, thanks. But it's really wild in 2024 to not have that in your options.

Yeah it's shocking. This was also the problem with Advance collection, I'm really amazed that they don't just default to fullscreen on startup. It's baffling that it's a brand new game in 2024 and I still need to press alt+enter every time I run it.

Why patch something that's not the game's fault? The lines show when you're using Windows DPI scaling.

Games can (and should) be flagged to ignore windows dpi scaling.

And yet even to this day they ignore a manifest entry that has been around all the way back in Windows Vista.

Not using High DPI aware also likely introduces latency because it nullifies DirectX optimizations, specifically the flip presentation model which allows the game to bypass the Windows DWM compositor.
