full screen?
Probably some button combo, but the grey bar at the top is annoying. So, anyone know how to fullscreen this one?

the first screen layout is the closest you can get to fullscreen.

Game launches in a window, so you have to hit Alt+Enter to make it fullscreen.

And when it is full screen after hitting Alt-Enter the resolution is aliased and there is a thin white line at the top of the screen which presumably is the white bar at the top of the game window. Full Screen mode in this game is broken, at least while using a 4K screen with DPI scaling like a normal person does.

No it isn't, you messed it up with DPI scaling. You need to right click on game.exe, select properties and go to compatibility -> change settings for all users -> change high DPI settings -> check the override high DPI scaling behavior and select "application".

anyone got this to work on steam deck?

It happens to me on my 4k monitor but not my Steam Deck. Edit: needing to alt+enter and the grey bar on top I mean.

I mostly play it on stream deck anyway.
Blowing it upto 4k doesn't look great. Still would be nice to get a fix.

It works flawlessly on steamdeck in my experience. Played through most DoS, PoR, and OoE on steamdeck.

Dawn of Sorrow is a bit annoying to play on it though, due to the obnoxious touch controls.

I didn't "mess it up" with DPI scaling, using DPI scaling is a legitimate thing to do with a 4K display, and games should be compatible with it and not make us do these workarounds.

It's not the game's job to be aware of and correct your Windows settings.

It is, I'm using it myself, but when it messes things up you need to let the game overwrite it.

My Windows settings are correct.

It's the game's job to be compatible with a very very common Windows use case without the user having to fiddle around with an esoteric properties menu.

If your Windows settings are correct, don't whine about getting an aliased image with DPI scaling.

Well, it is 100% compatible with DPI scaling, you just don't know how to use it properly.

I've found that using Alt-Enter three times will fix the fullscreen and give a correct display in my case.

This. I have to do the same thing. 1 alt+enter either makes the window as tall as my monitor or just maximizes it, 2 alt+enters returns to normal windowed, 3 alt+enters actually goes full screen.

Dunno if its a windows thing or a game thing but its stupid AF.
