jack keane 2 and windows 10

Does jack Keane 2 not work on windows 10, as its struggling to open or play.

I know this is an old thread, but someone else might see this. I just installed on Win 10 x64 bit and it wouldn't open, going to the local files install location and clicking on JackKeane2.exe just came up with a XINPUT1-3DLL error. However, I went into third party, ran vcredist2010_x86.exe, repaired the install, ran PhysX-9.12.0613-SystemSoftware.msi so that was installed and ran the DXSETUP.exe in the DirectX folder and low and behold the game now runs correctly. I can only assume that it needs something from these installs (you might not even need all of them) and therefore as they do not install / install properly then it fails.

hopes this helps someone else out there

Did NOT work for me.
I ran vcredist2010_x86.exe, repaired the install, ran PhysX-9.12.0613-SystemSoftware.msi (it told me my version was newer) and ran the DXSETUP.exe in the DirectX folder. Then I updated my PhysX by updating my GeForce GameReady Driver ( now version 441.41). At last I reinstalled the game. Of no avail.
And Jack Keane is not the only game which is not running anymore: Spellforce and DragonAge Origins are also affected, although I cannot say with certainty that they aren´t running by the same cause...
