Can't Launch Game

When I click play it changes to launching for 5 seconds then just says play again. Download works fine on my PC upstairs.

I have re installed steam and the game. Tried to run as admin, checked for updates, reset boot bios to default. Switch to windows 8 compatibility, deleted cache file from ubisoft.

For what it is worth I have never played this game on PC so this is my first time trying to launch it.

Exact same issue.
Farcry 6 refuses to play on my system.
I9-9900K
RTX 3090 Ti
2TB SSD
64 GB Ram
Can install, can enter menu, can enter options, once I hit start, Farcry 6 crashes to desktop. Entering auto-settings for graphics, crashes to desktop once the game engine engages.

Super disappointing, gave up last year and just took it as a loss. Moved on to the other 1,000 games I have that don’t crash.

Do you get any error messages when the crash occurs? If so, could you share a screenshot of the error message?

I would recommend taking a look at one of our troubleshooting guides[ubi.li] and following any steps you may not have tried yet.

No error messages I think. From what I remember when I was slamming my head against the wall trying to get it to work a few years ago, Farcry 6 crashed to desktop the instant the game engine engaged either through the auto-settings for graphics, or once I hit start and game engine engaged either.

I just started getting into Far Cry 6 on Steam, put almost 20 hours into it & now I can't start the game out of nowhere. Did you find a fix for your problem? If so could you please tell me.
