Uplay asking for activation code?

Bought on steam, but uplay wont' let me launch it until I put in an activation code. Where do I find that?

This is exactly why I buy UBI games from UBI not steam. Use 2 services for an UBI game = your just asking for issues.

Found the fix: I had a mod called "FOV Fixer". I uninstalled that and now it works. It was a single file in "Far Cry 6 > bin" called "FC_m64d3d12". Replace that with the original, unmodded file. Or delete it and verify game files to get the original back.

My GF also installed that mod and it caused this bug. I ended up doing the hex edits myself and it works fine for me. After deleting her broken DLL the game works again and doing it manually via the hex editor the game and fix works fine.
