This sounds reasonable, but it does not work for me.
Right click Far Cry 6 from steam library go to properties > language > english
Right click Far Cry 6 from steam library go to properties > language > german
Right click Far Cry 6 from steam library go to properties > language > spain
I tried various languages settinsg, but there is no change when starting the game. It stay in english (menu + audio) all the time. Any idea what I can do? (Re-installation didn't change the situation.)

Please allow changing audio language on the Steam version without switching the whole game language. I'd like to have english voice-over and italian UI. The game folder seems to have various files for different languages, so it should be already possible.
If other game files need to be downloaded on Steam, maybe it would be possible to use the DLC functionality on Steam (like some games do for HD textures, etc...).
Thank you.
EDIT: Other than English voice-over with Italian UI, I'd also like to try out Spanish voice-over, since the story is set up in a Spanish-speaking country.
Their reply ----------------
Hi, thank you for contacting Ubisoft.
In Far Cry 6 you can change the language for the in-game audio, interface and subtitles.
To change the audio and interface languages:
• Open the in-game menu.
• Go to the System tab, then Options.
• Select Audio.
• Go to the Interface & Language tab.
• Use the arrows to switch between the supported languages in the Audio Language or Interface Language sections.
To change the language of subtitles:
• Open the in-game menu.
• Go to the System tab, then Options.
• Select Audio.
• Go to the Subtitles tab.
• Use the arrows to switch between the available languages in the Subtitles Language section.
There is no option to change only the language without changing the game interface at the moment.
If there is anything else we can do for you feel free to contact us again.
Regards,

I've now replied asking them if some way to change it is planned in a future update.
This issue also at least in my case is that the audio language option is actually blank. Despite the fact steam forces you to download every language pack ( and DLCs ) regardless. I think the problem is steam integration. Normally language specific and dlc downloads are downloaded by steam respective of your desired option in Steam properties page. On Ubi it will also auto download the language you want from it's own properties page. They broke it for this release and i wouldn't expect any help. I guess there's a mod for that but i'm not gonna be bothered with this
1:Open game path "X:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry 6"
2:Open folder "data_final\pc\worlds"
3:Search "english" and should find 20 files, back up them and deleted from this folder
4:Search "mexican" and copy them, rename "mexican" to "english"(e.g. "fc6_lem0020_mexican.dat" to "fc6_lem0020_english.dat")
5:Rename all 20 files, done!
(If you want to switch back to english, use backup to overwrite the 20 files in game folder, or a simpler way, verify integrity of game files)
I just found out this solution, maybe there are some bugs I don't know, but I played for 5 minutes, the game runs normal without crash.
P.S. I also tried some files with "spanish". It sounds like unfinished with machine dubbing. Therefore, in the Steam Store page, this game doesn't support Spanish(Europe) audio.
same problem here, tried multiple possible solutions and non of them work. Contacting Ubisoft support right now and they haven't respond to me for like 4 days at this point
ok i contacted Ubisoft support and their response is not helpful at all, just telling me to change audio language under the Interface & Language tab which is not helpful at all
well did you see a update came out for this game? Ubisoft ain't gonna put any effort on this game anymore
