1. Blame every body else.
2. Uninstall the game.
3. Defending your "manhood" by listing your family members.
Almost 2% in the USA alone now.
Which means that for every 50 people you meet in a video game, roughly one person could convincingly be trans and it would make sense.
So are you going to keep referencing statistics without realizing how it digs you a hole?
I understand that your problem is that more and more people are recognizing their true selves and you REALLY don't want that happiness to spread, but that's just life. Sorry. It's happening anyways.
This is a lot of words to say, "I don't want the people I hate to show up in the games I like."
Just say it with your chest, bro. It's easier for everyone. The rest of us already know what the real problem is - why beat around the bush?
I neither hate nor love them. What I do not like are overrated minorities, that are being dragged through the media for show and tell, to appear in games, too.
What makes this worse is that they also killed off the more likeable and entertaining characters in the story, such as the quirky vegan girl and the crazy black guy with his tank. These two would have made for a good replay value like Hurk Drubman Jr., but by killing them is there no replay value and one only gets to see them die again. What is left is a trans with daddy issues, who hides in the boot of a car, and the fat DJ, and both are unremarkable, boring characters. Then there is the overuse of the f-word, which quite unintelligently pops up in every dialogue, and somehow do all Spanish-speaking characters only speak broken English like a stereotype.
In comparison, FC5 was not just a shooter, but also a satire on American culture by a Canadian game maker. Even the randomised dialogues by the mercs in FC5, which many times lacked coherency, could still lead to quite hilarious commentary.
FC6 is neither satirical, comical, or entertaining. It is a mix of a lot of rubbish that may perhaps be circling the brains of today's teenagers, but not most adults. The story was terrible and the only entertainment was blowing stuff up. Even the game mechanic in FC6 was dumbed down. The unique weapons in previous Far Cry games made you want to collect them, because they provided good firepower. But nothing in FC6 made me want to use a unique. They just butchered any fun, replay value and challenge, and made FC6 the most boring and cringy Far Cry title ever released.
That it has a trans in FC6 is merely the tip of the ice berg.
I'm not the one bringing up trans people on games as a problem and writing multiple paragraphs about why it's a problem. Don't call it projection - that's just what you're doing.
Like, 'transexual' is an offensive term. They're transgender. Try again, buddy.
You claim indifference, but you were the one that opened a dialogue with me about this, while insisting on using offensive terms to describe the group in question. If you were indifferent, you would have said nothing and gone about your day.
Using a sentence like 'you seem to love them, which must mean you hate them' is what projection actually looks like. You REALLY don't want to admit that you do not like trans people in your games, so you're going through all of these mental acrobatics to avoid that inevitability while making an absolutely awful attempt to somehow turn it around on me. But it doesn't matter how many layers of rhetoric you plaster over it, the result is the same; trans people make you uncomfortable.
I'll never understand why your type doesn't just wear your ♥♥♥♥ with pride. It's like there's some small part of you that understands this is very wrong - like some sort of conscience - but you just can't bring yourself to crush that dissenting voice completely. At least LGBTQ people aren't afraid to be themselves in spite of you.
That's literally the topic of the thread. The title is asking if they can skip the trans quest. There were no details or analysis offered as to why, aside from 'garbage inclusive quest'.
Are you just lost? I don't understand. Maybe you're responding to the wrong thread? That's valid - I've done that before.
Otherwise... yeah, maybe take a serious attempt at introspection? There seems to be some serious cognitive dissonance going on over there if you can't see what you're doing in relation to the situation at hand.
Which is fair - that's also something a lot of people struggle with. I won't mock you for it. Love and peace.
'you seem to love them, which must mean you hate them'
Where did that come from?
'Trans people are props'
'Using offensive terms to describe them'
'Trans people being in shooters is cringe'
"It is good that people point out what they hate about a game."
'Using offensive terms to describe them'
'Saying I am projecting MY hate for trans people'
'Trans people are the tip of the iceberg (of the things I don't like in this game)."
Here you are trying to say me 'speaking in defense' of something is somehow 'abusing' it, and that me tolerating/loving trans people means I actually have a problem with them. Which I correctly pointed out is what ACTUAL projection looks like; you are projecting your own negative sentiments onto someone else who clearly is not because you cannot face yourself on this issue.
Any other questions for clarity? I believe I've covered everything.
Small tip for you: just because you don't LITERALLY say "I Hate Trans People", does not mean you don't, or that you don't harbor a lot of negative sentiment toward them. It also does not mean it's not positively radiating from your words, for anyone paying attention. Introspection.
'you seem to love them, which must mean you hate them'
Where did that come from? Who wrote this? Can you answer the question?
Seems to me nobody wrote it, but you. And it is not the only statement you quote, but nobody else wrote. Where does it come from?
Do you struggle with sight or reading? I just showed you.
Don't condescend to me when you can't even remember your own words.
And this is not the only sentence you have produced and complained about. There is a lot more coming only from you that nobody said. I then told you that I neither hate or love them (see above). Still you go on as if I had never said that and rather read it as me saying I hate them.
There is a lot of unprocessed thought on your side going on. Maybe take your meds, just a friendly suggestion. Or keep riding the crazy express. It is up to you.
You did write it. I even quoted it back to you.
Like I said - introspection. Confront yourself on these issues. You'll be a better person for it.
