The one thing this is NOT, is "fun". It's one of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ throwbacks to 1990s gaming where "well, if you cannot survive the hordes coming for you, you obviously haven't mastered this game, and if you quit you have to start AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL over again from the very beginning. Oh, and there are minimal checkpoints and no savegames. Git gud, player one."
Just crap game design. I hated it then. I still hate it. It's like game makers just never embraced the idea that people play games for FUN, not to reach 39th Dan level Ninjago-master tier gunskills.
(Not that this garbage -- and I am referring to the last level here, the horde survival -- has ANYTHING to do with gun skill and EVERYTHING to do with fire survival and negligible-resource management.)
I regret my choice starting the mission to make her shut the ♥♥♥♥ up. I guess I have to start Far Cry 6 all over again from the very beginning because Ubisoft won't let me quit a DLC. How ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Ok. That makes sense. Maybe I just got lucky because I'm not that good of a player but I finished the whole thing without dying. For that final battle I made use of the stationary guns as much as possible. Otherwise, I'd funnel them in around a barrier where I could headshot a group of 2-3 with the shotgun. I also noticed early on that the mobs that come from the left usually get caught up on the mountainside. This allowed me to ignore them while dealing with the others. Not sure if any of that will help but I hope so.
This is a type of Bug. Go back to that exit area. She will talk to you like you are starting over. Once you get there, the 'quest' will end and she will go away.
