Cant even climb up past the first grapple hook prompt

I can press E to attach onto the rope and pressing space jumps off of the rocks, but pressing down W on my keyboard does nothing to climb up. dude literally just swings left to right. Am I missing something?

use the mouse buttons to climb up and down

In New Dawn (which I'm playing currently) the fire button is climb. I don't have 6 yet but.. try that? Confused me too at first.

Also, while you're dangling movement to swing can be useful. So after awhile it makes sense that movement isn't climb.

yeah I cant believe it took me more than 30-40 minutes to even try using my mouse click to climb. ive never used the shooting function to climb in any other game before but I feel rather brain dead for not trying. My B everyone lol

I guess this is your first far cry game too cause the previous ones were like this too lol
