If I didn't like Far Cry 5, will I like 6

I was a massive man of Far Cry 3 and 4, but when FC5 came out on PS4, I sold it a month after beating it. I never got around to playing 6 when it initially came out, is it worth checking out?

It's more or less the same formula

You probably just got burnt out of the same gameplay, which is pretty much Far Cry 3 - Far Cry 6.

imo I wouldn't recommend Far Cry 6 because they don't do much to innovate in these games. Once you've played Far Cry 5 you've pretty much played Far Cry 6 lol

It follows the same formula that ubisoft is doing with all their other games by adding in rpg elements. That being said that doesn't make it a bad game but if your expecting a more traditional feeling farcry game like 3/4 then you may wanna overlook this one.

Honestly it's basically exactly like 5 excpect that they added the horrible, half-assed RPG mechanics from New Dawn.
You know, the one where your guns suddenly do no damage because some arbitrary number went up.

I wasnt sure what was going on with the rank system. I snuck on the 2 boats you have to take out before the quest popped up. All the soldiers were rank 12 and I think I was rank 1 or 2. I was able to stealth kill all of them. New dawn you needed to invest skill points to stealth kill higher ranked enemies along with heavy enemies.

But there's no skill point system here (which I kind of miss). They should have had both skill points and the gear system. idk. something feels a little off

honestly i loved FC5, but got super bored by FC6 and never got close to finising this due to its terrible crafting system and the stupid rpg crap...

Damn, I'm glad I scrolled through the forums enough to see this. I thought my only problems with the game was gonna be the download size, meaning I might have gotten this some time in future. I thought that this was just gonna be pretty much the same game again, following the formula since 3, but apparently they made it far worse. Now I know that I do not want to touch this game at all.

liked all except 5, that story with the get captured and escape 100 times by force was such BS for me, gameplay mostly was good just hated the story.

I loved 1, 3 and New Dawn I didn't like 2, 4 or 5

6 seems good so far from what I played of it

FC6 is vastly dumbed down version of FC5.

Weapon ranks outright don't mean a thing in this game compared to new dawn. My 1 star pistol, which I've had no reason to replace, can still one tap any enemy that isn't heavy armored with a well aimed shot to the skull.
