Whats with all of the DLC's being Rogue-lite's ?

Have Ubisoft had a recent or current obsession with it ? or maybe they are just easier to make. All 4 DLC's appear to be Rogue-Lite's and the the one with the Crystal enemies looks so uninspired. For myself I am not a fan of that genre and I would of not expected it in Far Cry. I was going to buy the Game of the Year edition but ill stick with the standard edition. It feels a little disappointing when they could of done so much more.

How was your choice of standard edition?

I'm not the biggest fan of rogue-lite games either and didn't realise the DLC's are of that nature. Shucks.

Yeah Rogue-lites is a strange thing here and it looks like even people who like them get bored of them after a couple of hours or just do one of the DLC's before burnout.

I brought the Deluxe Edition and I do not have regrets. I finished it and am doing a few post game things now before I move onto something else. I think the main game is pretty good and while has some problems it gets bashed on here unfairly. Anyway the Deluxe edition includes the base game and....

Did the same with wildlands and starting too with each AC title now too with mythical realms to run around in repeating the same old gameplay all over or removing your protagonist with all its skill,equipment time and investment and get handed new protagonist to play as. I think as much as it annoys the crap out of me its just ubisofts thing now.
I also went for deluxe and have not found a reason to splash on the fringe dlc.
