Can't change audio language?

Hey guys. There ar eno other languages appearing in "Interface and Language" settings. Like the bracket is empty and nothing happens when I click on it. Also, there is no option for it in Ubisoft Connect. I'd be really obliged if someone could help me. Thanks y'all

I have also the problem, that I can not change to an other language then English. At game properties at steam I've selected German, but with no effect. It's still in English.

At the ingame dialog the audio language offers no change. There is not to select.

Alternatively I've tried the UBIsoft lauchner, but on the game options dialog there is no language selection shown at all.

Maybe I need to DL a kind of language pack separately? Very strange and dont have clue what I can try more... Any Ideas?

The first option is the install language! english/german or whatever (some parts are spanish audio). The 2nd option is in the ingame option as i wrote above (no extra language packages neccessary). You can change audio and subtitles. There are no more points, maybe you try a new install.

The solution in this thread was to change the language at steam (fc6 > properties > language). But this does not work for me. I've tried different languages there (German, English, Spain,...) but in the game the spoken language is always English.

This confuses me. What's wrong with the language settings... :-?

What the hell, i wrote before yes spoken language is in english and thats wrong (i removed my answer a minute ago). My game is open again now and my audio is in GERMAN! 100% sure. Spoken language german, descriptions german, subtitles german (if you want it).
Searched again for language changing options and the result is, important is only the install language! After installing the game there is no option to change the spoken language! So, thats it now.

You're driving me crazy anyway lol. After I couldn't believe what I wrote above, it's very simple. You open the game and you have the main menu, then Audio, then User Interface and Language and here you can select the spoken language. So not only in the game directly, but in the main menu in front of it!

I fully agree. Everything was made as discribed, but with no effect:

a) When starting the installation, German was select as language.
b) At Steam, right click on fc6 > properties > language > German selected
c) After starting the game > options > audio > no selection is offered, nothing can be change d there. (Only for subtiltes a selection is possible and this works fine)

Results is (unfortuanalty always): game audio in English.

d) Furhtermore I checked the UBI launcher: fc6 > Properties > but there is no language selection option shown (for other games at the UBI launcher, the is a language option available)

It look exactly the same to me.

For b) I changed to language a couple of time to different settings an started the game, but the spoken audio is always English. (Futhermore i would assume that also the interface/menu language would change as well to the selected language. But is stays always in English - as the audio does)

@Bountyhunter: I will de-/reinstall fc6. Not sure if it helps, but I don't know what to try further...

I've just reinstalled the game and downloaded the 140 GB again. After reinstallation all settings and savegames are still unchanged. And - unfortunately - the situation is the same: At steam > fc6 > properties > language "German" selected. Result: Game is in English
At steam > fc6 > properties > language "French" selected. Result: Game is (still) in English
I am bit lost on this. Whatever I try the game stays in English. :-(

Dont understand why, because in the mainmenue - audio - Interace and language you can set the spoken language. (Launcher, Spiel, spielen, Hauptmenü, Audio, Benutzeroberfläche&Sprache und genau da stellt man die gesprochene Sprache ein). Ich habe das 2x getestet von Deutsch auf Englisch und wieder zurück von Englisch auf Deutsch und das ohne Neuinstallation. Die Erstinstallation war auf Deutsch, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher ob das wirklich eine Rolle spielt denn es hat ja auch so 2x funktioniert. Sorry, mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen.

Testweise habe ich FC6 mal direkt über den UBI-Lauchner gestartet. Da läuft es auch in Englisch. Wobei ich mich frage, woher der UBI-Lauchner die Info über die eingestellte Sprache nimmt? Im Steamprofil wird er ja kaum 'nachsehen' können.
Normalerweise kann man Im UBI-Lauchner (für dort gekaufte Spiele), die Sprache im Eigenschaftsdialog des Spiels einstellen (ähnlich wie bei Steam). Bei FC6 fehlt dieser Eintrag im UBI-Lauchner allerdings.

@Bountyhunter. Stellst Du die Sprache (ausschließlich) über den Rechtsklick in der Bibliothek ein - oder kannst Du im unter Optionen dann auch noch die Sprache wählen/wechseln?
Bei mir bleibt die Einstellung in der Bibliothek ja leider ohne Wirkung (wie beschrieben) und im Spiel selbst, bietet der "Language"-Eintrag keinerlei Einstellmöglichkeit.

Hi, ich stelle alles im Spiel (d.h. eben Ubi Launcher und dann das jeweilige Spiel von Ubi) ein. D.h. ich habs ja auch nicht bei Steam gekauft, weil es bis vor kurzem gar nicht zu kaufen war! Aber generell gilt das auch für Steameinkäufe von Ubisoft Spielen, das man alles bei Ubi einstellt was das jeweilige game betrifft. Ich hab mir einen key gekauft und den bei Ubi aktiviert, war die günstigste Lösung.
Ja, die Epilepsiewarnung wird dann auch in deutsch angezeigt, klar. Wie eben alles andere auch. Wenn Du es so machst wie ich oben schrieb und alles direkt bei Ubi sollte es keine Probs geben, ich hab das jetzt 2x erfolgreich umgestellt von Englisch auf Deutsch, zurück auf Englisch und wieder auf Deutsch, klappt alles und OHNE Neuinstallation.

Vergiss Deine Steameinstellungen und lass alles wie es ist.

Ja, bei Spielen, die ich über UBI gekauft habe, nehme ich die Einstellungen - wie von Dir beschrieben - auch immer vor: Rechtsklick > Spieldetails anzeigen > Eigenschaften > Allgemein > im Dropdown-Menü lässt sich dann die Sprache wählen. So geht's das bspw bei Anno oder ACreed wunderbar.

Bei FC6 (über Steam gekauft) sieht es im UBI-Lauchner etwas aufgeräumter aus. Einige der sonst typischen Einträge (bspw. "Allgemein" oder "Lokale Dateien") werden nicht angezeigt. Damit gibt es dort auch keine Möglichkeit, die Sprache zu wechseln.

In einem anderen Thread hat jmd ein Clip gepostet (auf Spanisch). Aber das Menü sieht dort genauso aufgeräumt aus wie bei mir - es gibt nur zwei Einträge "Spielversion" und "Spielstart-Argumente": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smaWSK9cuCE

Für ihn hat die Lösung übrigens funktioniert, die Sprache von FC6 in Steam umzustellen, was bei mir leider greift - warum auch immer. Heute gab's noch eine DL über 75MB und ich hatte schon Hoffnung - hat aber leider nichts geändert.
