Yeah that's stopped it from dropping and I can't tell the difference anyway. Thank you!
I want the HD Textures so I will wait for a fix to continue playing
Is a truly lazy and clearly no ♥♥♥♥♥ given release by ubisoft when over half the games size are optional files that could have been decided in the games installation.
You were almost surely running out of VRAM, or RAM with the HD textures enabled, likely VRAM.
The fix is having more VRAM. It's not something that's going to be updated or changed. HD textures use more VRAM.
Seems to be this, I have 6 gig of VRAM on my 1660 and the benchmark tool thing says I am within limits - but this bug only happens with HD textures turned on
Not a huge loss, but dangit what is the point in benchmarks that don't actually benchmark?
it's not a good game
I didn't update that post, I actually found out its not the HD Textures, it only happens torward the end of specific missions (first time it happened after doing the blue trail and then a cut scene, the second time it happened was during the workbench tutorial and this is where I stopped so far) But when I am freeroam the map I can play for hours with no slowdown, so this isn't a HD texture / VRAM issue its a mission and cut scene specific issue, the FC6 settings I run says I am only using 6GB of my 8GB of VRAM for further proof its not a VRAM issue
