The Enemy Respawn thing~

Back at launch of this game, there was a load of ranting from reviewers and regulars about the way the devs had overblown the spawnrates and respawn rates of the Enemy faction.

'Outposts will immediately refill after you've cleared them'
'An alarm with call in an endless army so the fight doesn't really end'
etc.
Has this been updated, or maybe does that kind of thing not really sound like how the game actually behaves, at all?
The person I intend to play with always loved the Outposts in Farcrys, will be disheartened to hear they're pretty much just enemy spawn nodes/hotspots

I just bought FC6 last week and yeah, re-spawn rate is way over the top in game. Worst of all I have noticed is enemy boats seem to constantly re-spawn within seconds of destroying the previous one. Really annoying if you out on a boat and the onslaught is never ending.

I've been playing it too. On foot, the enemies and AI are such a non-threat even just from a weapon that you're forced to create at the beginning of the game, so the respawns are literal milliseconds of inconvenience.
But yeah I imagine if you're trying to preserve a vehicle or even just enjoy driving or something and there's nothing you can do to stop AI from pestering you that's lame, probably worse in water because they wouldn't have bothered trying to make the spawns inconspicuous

As the others have said yup constant non stop spawns - its pretty dumb as far cry 5 had this sort of issue but wasn't quite as bad.

Also game will spawn things directly in front of you - when driving its near impossible to have at least 2 or 3 enemies just pop in, instead of being fun just becomes tedious as all enemy soldiers are the worlds best pistol marksmen in cars, and couldn't hit the ground with a rifle out of it.

if you dont disable alarms in outpost enemies will just keep on respawning, trash game

It just follows the formula of Rogue-lites
makes sure there's always a stream of activity and action for casual players that turn on their console on for a few hours a week. Leaving no appeal for players who want Farcry 3/4
I don't think this is Ubisoft's top team regardless. I think they left years ago and the people who filled in are very, very different in motivations.

Is there any way to resolve this problem? It's becoming pretty anoying and killing all my desire to continue playing the game.
Maybe a mod or something?

they literally said that the respawn thing is not a bug but intentional. i can see why they made it like this but sometimes it's also annoying like on boat. unlike FC5 tho enemies don't attack on sight so you can drive pretty freely. again i'm not saying that i like this respawn mechanics but at least they don't attack on sight

maybe there is Libertad mod which IMO everyone playing on pc should use at this point. anyway just keep your weapon holstered and don't bump into them and enemies will not attack

It's clear the game's release was rushed, which is sad, given the amazing graphics and tons of things to discover. The prologue (from the trailer) is missing completely, and endless enemy teams spawning in plain sight is just ridiculous.

Right now I am supposed to find my way through a city maze to find statues to paint over. There are strongholds, fine, but the moment you get away 50 meters or so any cleared stronghold is populated again with enemies armed to their teeth, while you only have some rounds left. KIA is not a problem, you just respawn too, but it's getting tedious. Before spotting you they know where you are. If there is a slightest possibility that they see you they will and come right after you, unless you are not in a restricted area. Then you can stroll the street, even while you're state enemy 1.

Anyway, it's still a nice game with a lot of puzzles and a vast map to explore, but the spawning issue spoils immersion. Logically you'd have X enemies in a wide area with Y% probability they will show up at the boundary of your visual range. The higher value a site has the more probably there is presence. Any site cleared should be clear, or visited by investigating forces.

Completly agree, really well explained.
I ended droping the game; it's a pain that the respawn thing was killing all the fun when this game have so much going on, but it becomes exponientally more anoying and I keep getting angrier and angrier when I played the game, as I like to play with stealth.
Did they ever fix this? All I want is a fc game that let's me take over bases which then get taken by my faction so forth and so on without respawns enemies. Have them try and take the bases back sure, but in such a way that's realistic. With their forces getting weaker as mine get stronger. Having bars that just taipan enemies was a horrible idea and with the tech we have now, it should be no problem to have it this way.
I would need to reinstall to verify, but by other comments ands post it seems they never did fixt the respawn, and that's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pitty, this makes the game unplayable and completly impossible to get immersive to me.

It doesn't happen with checkpoints and bases and not all story/mission locations, but anywhere outside and it can get annoying at times, and don't even go in the water, unless you have to, you can see them spawn in as you kill one.

I remember being impossible to take some bases because of the continous spawn, as I keep killing enemies they reappeared at the edge of the base and runned directly to kill me, am I crazy or have they changed something?

Once you capture a checkpoint or base it belongs to Libertad. Once you destroy an aircraft cannon it does not come back. Not sure what the issue is you are referring to. Yes there are many random spawns of enemies but not in captured bases. You don't have to fight enemies you can just run away then fast travel to someplace else. The timer for the special forces chasing you is pretty short so its easy to get away from them as well. More details needed.
