Was Far Cry 6 an Epic Exclusive?
Seeing conflicting information and looking for confirmation.

Was Far Cry 6 an Epic Games Exclusive?

Confirmed. It was an Epic Exclusive, though not the usual type (apparently they had a deal to vendor Ubi games through Epic and Ubisoft Connect. My understanding is Epic mostly sold Keys, but they were the only source other then Ubi itself. No steam, no GoG, just Epic and UbiConnect).

Just got confirmation, this was an Epic Games exclusive on 7 Oct 2021.

no I bought my Far Cry 6 from Ubisoft Canada store when it first came out, what's this epic I keep hearing about? thought they were a record company?

Not really an exclusive when you could buy it on uplay.
