FOV mod install issue

I downloaded and installed an FOV mod but then when I go to launch the game is tries to install again through ubisoft connect. When I removed it and verified the game files it launches normally again. Anybody come across this or even better have a fix?

Hello. I also require FoV mods and utilities because I have a "High FoV Gaming" setup, which basically means that I sit really, really close to a large display (18" away from a 55" 4K OLED).

I can't help specifically, but I wanted to say that I strongly suggest that you buy Ubisoft games from Ubisoft, EA games from EA, Rockstar games from Rockstar, etc. instead of buying them via Steam and being forced to use two DRM programs instead of just one.

When you buy games from other companies you have to use their DRM whether you like it or not --- adding more DRM can cause technical problems and customer service problems.

The best way is to buy keys from legitimate retailers. They're normally much cheaper than buying from Steam or from Ubisoft, etc. and you guarantee that you only have the base DRM and nothing more.
