I am sure it attracted its audience, but it also lost many of the older fans who would have liked a proper continuation of the series. They could also just have stopped while they were ahead, left it at 5 titles, and started something new from scratch, but no. So who knows what the sales numbers would have looked like if they had not sold it as Far Cry 6.
It is not about a single mechanic being wrong. The entire vibe of the game is out of line for a Far Cry title, from game mechanics being dumber, the characters being mostly biased kids, all to a dictator who has a noble cause and commits suicide rather than to cut losses and run.
What bugs me is that FC6 is not even close to as good as the series used to be.
Maybe Ubisoft lost a lot of the good staff during covid and could not afford to replace them with competent ones.
You played FarCry, Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry 5? And possibly even Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon?
FC6 actually feels closer to 4 imo. It feels like I am playing an action adventure game and not just doing random spawning events until the boss appears and it lets me complete the area and move on. The bad guy was also boring AF, like I get it, a corrupt militaristic religious nut, so something that there is tons of in America and isn't likeable like other villains. Meh
I guess your dishonesty and delusion could be one reason for your strange taste in games.
What sort of "woke crap" is there? Aside from roasting the US (which most Central American countries do), I didn't see anything particularly "woke".
"Woke" means an agenda to make people aware of the supposed mistreatment or oppression of certain groups of people, and to change the way people think in order to change society.
Did you play the game? There's plenty.. Two glaring ones, the whole "trans in Yara" quest line, and did you notice the amount of "boss girls", I mean at least 50% of the fighters are woman (makes total sense right?) and pretty much all leaders are woman. Call it woke or DEI, all the same crap.
point out which part is dishonest or delusional instead of just trying to deflect
It feels like they were trying to remake 3 'for a modern audience' and threw the baby out with the bathwater in doing so resulting in something frustrating where I hate everyone and I hold little interest in the world.
