What made Far Cry 6 maybe the worst of the series?

I enjoyed most of the series and I really loved Far Cry 5, but 6 feels annoying.

I tried to identify why and I think I figured it out... I think it is the constant collection of resources.

Or do you guys think it is some other mechanic of the game?

6 is incredibly easy...ffs, the AI acts like pre-alpha stage. I played to just before the mid point of the game before quitting due to this being an absolutely ♥♥♥♥ game, and not even once did I come close to dying. In fact, the animals were more of a threat than the AI enemies.

One time I stood in a small open area and slaughtered wave after wave of the so called, special forces, without even trying. They just kept coming and dying. I basically kept going until I was out of ammo.

More than a few times I had the AI run past me, stop, pause, turn around, look at me, and then try to engage me.


This game is a mess from start to finish, and I really, really can not understand how anyone can say FC 6 was better than ANY of the previous FC games, or even a good game in general.

They must foam at the mouth and yap like little dogs at games like Tomb Raider, Horizon Zero Dawn, Alien: Isolation, etc.

Good gracious virtue-signalling! Why are you trying so hard?? You do not actually believe half of all Navy Seals, Green Berets, Delta Force, Rangers, SAS, Commandos, French Legionaires, SWATs, KSK, Special Forces or whoever ... are women. Come one, that is so much dumber than any incel ever was. The US military has around 20% women overall, and this is more than most other militaries. Anyone who thinks militaries should be more ethical, diverse, and inclusive like there should be 50% women and fat people should be allowed to join, too, should just shut up and join themselves. I dare you, please, join at your nearest recruitment office so someone can put a boot up your back. Or else will you suggest next that militaries should be 100% women to end all wars.

Try also Ubisoft bloating a 70gb game to a 170gb game for no reason. They force you to pre-install DLC's that you might not own.
That is BAD game developing.

ownership might be correct date wise, however, this messed up ♥♥♥♥ where i'm not allowed to download only the base game i payed for and not 100gb of their bloatware? since when? not 2010.

i'd like to go through farcry 6 again, i played through it once, but since then it's ballooned by over 100gb in data, and i just wont download all that ♥♥♥♥ in order to relive the experience i had before.

my guess is that is an actual tactic.

I agree. I was just making the point that there is a distinct difference between owning a game --- either a disc copy or a DRM-Free GOG copy --- and merely paying a bunch of money for temporary permission to play a game.

In the latter case, as you point out, you have no control over the game, and it can become bloated with stuff you don't want, or change into a very different game that you don't like, or even get taken away from you.

i have tried and tried to enjoy Farcry 6 (installed, deleted, reinstalled, deleted, reinstalled, and redeleted), i just can't! loved 1 (still play it), hated 2, (6 feels like 2), Loved Farcry 3(replayed 2 weeks ago), 4 (replayed from scratch and finished this week), and 5 (am on my 3rd time thru it).

Sorry, i just can't enjoy this game, the new controls, story, and graphics are just horrible.

I also replay Far Cry and Far Cry 3. I'm glad that you like Far Cry 4 and 5, because it makes me more confident that I will like them as well. As long as they have the same base infiltration mechanics as Far Cry 3 I'll be happy.
