If you scroll down the store page you can see what each edition offers.
I would not recommend the deluxe edition, which contains the ultimate pack, as it only contains some clothing, weapon, and vehicle skins, which are mostly out of sight in first person view. However, if you and a friend are seriously committed to play the game in co-op, and really like those skins, and maybe add some fun role playing to it, then paying a few extra bucks for the skins may be worth it.
I would not recommend the gold pack, which contains the season pass. You will get a few other games. A real stand alone game Far Cry Blood Dragon, which you may already have. And three shorter games that may or may not be worth it, depending if you really are going to play them or not.
The Goty edition contains all the extra's. If you decide to buy Standard Edition now, and later decide to buy the Goty upgrade pass in future sale, you'll only pay 4 bucks more. If you can't afford this extra fee, you'll probable shouldn't spend the extra 20 bucks on the Goty edition anyway.
I bought the standard edition in the last summer sale, when it was a little bit cheaper, and I'm still in my first play through with over 170 hours playing the game.
Previous installment were just better in every department.
You will not have fun at any given time. The previous games all were better.
I recommend you getting another Far Cry title. The only reason I ended up here is by randomly checking for updates regarding this game when I saw it on sale. They did nothing to fix issues people had since release.
Twenty-nine dollars for this??? I bet you haven't yet played FarCry. Have you even played
Far Cry 3?
There are literally hundreds of games that are actually good. There's no reason to give Ubisoft your money for poorly-coded propaganda.
Felt like a huge downgrade in fun factor compared to Farcry 5.
I didn't like New Dawn either though.
It's a made up world, if the propaganda affects you, get another hobby.
Yes, propaganda is by definition made-up.
Propaganda is bad. I don't like propaganda. I'm allowed to complain about it.
Any questions?
1. I chose not to play this game.
2. I'm talking about Ubisoft using propaganda in its games, not an NPC using propaganda against other NPCs.
You clearly have no desire to engage in honest discussion with me.
It's a game about shooting bad-guys in the face, and blowing stuff up, while looking for collectables.
And it (on occasion) makes you smile, some of the characters are great.
I know, because you have no desire to understand what I am talking about. Honest discussion entails making a good faith effort to understand what the other person is talking about.
Disregarding everything a person says and then making comments about a person's mental/emotional state is the opposite of honest discussion. I feel comfortable in suggesting that it's why you don't understand near as much as you think you do.
