Purple textures. How to fix?

After a certain time, purple squares begin to appear on the map, I didn’t find anything about this on the Internet, usually I noticed it after rain, but I don’t know for sure if it’s related

Just quit and restart the game. I've had the purple squares once, and grainy textures once, both times I just rebooted the game after a save and it looked fine for the rest of the session.

I tried to re-login but after some time again near the water and then they started to appear on the map again

They are usually down to missing textures or in-game assets. Might be worth verifying the game files via steam.

I checked the files and they seemed to help, but after a while they still appear

If you haven't already done so, download the additional HD texture package.

Start the game, go to the video settings, Enable HD textures and return to the desktop.

Start the game again, go to the video settings, Disable HD textures and return to the desktop.

Start the game again and the problem should be solved.

I get these if I have other apps open beneath the game. If I close everything else it seems to fix it.
