Missing textures?
I started the game and saw these textures, is this the problem of the game or is the video card dying?

bad GPU or drivers ? .. do you have the HD texture pack installed ?

its not gonna work well on a 1660 you don't have enough V ram

ran into a problem here with my old factory overclocked 6 gig GTX 1060

game ran slow and some textures looked washed out but not that bad

..upgraded to an RTX 3060 12 gig card..no problems at all now even in 2560 X 1440 with the HD texture pack installed .. that may auto install with the games files ?? ..so check

you might fix it just by removing the HD texture package

and doing a clean install of your video Drivers .. i would use DDU for best results

sucks if its your GPU dying man ...

also try verifying your games files it could just be missing some texture files ??

never saw that here

i would update graphic drivers , if you have mods remove them and put the graphic settings on low play if ok go up one level or two . Play again if ok turn up graphic settings , if ok ad one mod at a time playing .
I had an issue similar to this when i had a windows update in back ground was gone next day . This is how i fixed my issue

I checked for broken files and they were indeed found. But I bought the game from Ubisoft Connect and this great app just deleted the broken files and I downloaded the whole game again. With my internet, I'll check if everything is okay in a week. Thanks for the advice.

I had a 1660GTX before my 3070RTX and never saw that.. but I do get the random missing purple spots that eventually fill in once in awhile.

After looking on Reddit a bunch of folks with 3070s seemed to have it. It seems to appear because we haven't played for awhile, it went away for a day or two then came back.

Everyone with a 8GB GPU also had to shut off HD Textures due to the FPS drops, just unplayable. Every time you'd call in a vehicle or start a new Quest it would just happen.. HD Textures Off and game plays 100% and looks great.

I did not download hd textures. So it's not about them. I think the files were corrupted when downloading. It remains to wait a couple of days for the game to download and check it out. My internet is very bad)

its a graphics settings to high or something going on in background
i still think because since i messed with settings and updated everything no more problems
. This sort of thing has happened on other games in slightly different ways . Once again messing with settings fixed it .

Thanks for the answer, I'll try to change the graphics settings. Perhaps something on the computer really does not have time to process the image
