Pets/Amigos Attacking During Stealth

I have, on multiple occasions, had a pet attack an enemy when I’m trying to use stealth and alert the enemies, making it unnecessarily difficult. Is there some way to make the Amigos more passive? So they’re not attacking whenever they spot a potentially hostile enemy?

I stick them in a corner or room and have them wait

you could find the treasure amigo he comes along with the debated best supremo on the game got the "guerrilha in the shadows" achiviement with it

Go in Amigo menu and send them away.

Having them wait is a good idea. Sending them away is probably also good, the option to summon them was broken for me for awhile so I haven't been messing with it. Thanks for replies though, I will try both of those things.
