Another ZERO audio issue

have been searching for a solution to this issue, i just purchased the game on steam and i' don't feel like spending the 2 hour window triaging Ubisofts inability to code in an audio device output selection.



literally all 84+ of my other games have worked without fail, even defaulting to the proper audio device outlined in windows settings, yet Ubisofts answer is to triage MY PC, a PC that audio works and selects the proper default audio devices without issue fopr literally every single other game.

No Ubisoft, the issue is not on my end, as evidenced by every other game working fine, it is on YOUR end with YOUR product.

now if i cannot triage your product or get it working withing the next hour and a half i will be refunding.

it's ridiculous in 2024 this should even be an issue. or that i should be trying to find a way to correct your shoddy coding from what appears to be a bunch of interns for the audio department of your game

OK, well after goign through, disabling literally all other audio devices, including realtek digital output, verifying all windows updates performed, disablign any potential audio from NVidia control panel, restarting the computer multipel times.. i was correct it WAS ubisoft side, and a verify game file integrity showed 3 files failed to validate, once these 3 files had been re-acquired and downloaded, open the game and i actually get the damn intro audio.


with this said, an audio output device option should be in ANY game title audio options PERIOD, also your patch notes are a joke and lie, you didn't fix it, or at least didn't fix it fully.

there are also people on console having issues with audio and Chorizo, or just random drops.

please explain how its ubisofts fault...?? if steam gave you a bad download ?

would that not be a valve Steam issue with their servers ?

id love to hear this story .. wait ill go make some popcorn for this one..................

also how is it UBISOFTS issue if other services also give a faulty download due to a users connection speed it the user is doing other things slowing it and not verify their files >?

yea shoddy code caused you to not get all your files correctly .. umm that's a valve issue if you ask me if you bought it here

never had a problem with my UBI only copy (had the game since day 1 that it shipped
years before it even came to steam ) ..hmm maybe i have s3cret special internet

oh and yes i agree ....its ridiculous that in 2024 ...people don't verify their game files after they down load a title that's over 50 gig on any site

and always wanna blame the developer ... {facepalm}

but that's what steam has become a bunch of console gamers who use a PC now and always use the blame game

the game has language packs that yes you may need to install over steam

in ubi connect you just pick your language

and yes always on a game file that's over 50 gig .... verify the files that you downloaded

care to inform me why every other game, including ones over 100 GIGS had no problem, yet Farcry 6 did? care to inform how their packaging of their product is somehow free from issues?

again of over 80+ games, several exceeding Farcry 6, NONE had issues with audio. the fact the files corrupted is an issue that occurs during game installation setup AFTER the files where downloaded and installed, not WHILE they where downloaded.
