first step verify your game files .. you may have some kinda corrupt save
and shut off that silly setting in UBI connect for cloud saves
be a man back up your own save files manually
1 there is no such video card as a GTX 1060 TI
there is only the GTX 1060 6 gig and 3 gig
are you on a laptop or desktop >?
and yes it sucked for far cry 6 game ran ...but yea choppy in 1080 P
you probably crashed because you ran out of video ram available
again first step delete your save file (yes you may need to start a new game if you left the ubisoft cloud save setting on ... in ubisoft connect settings ) thats why its looping
step 2 verify your game files ..make sure you dont have any bad files installed
step 3 start a new game and keep that silly ubisoft cloud save setting unchecked in your ubi connect settings
step 4 update your video drivers and use DDU and clean out the old one before you do ,,and yes lower your settings and expectation of your GTX 1060 and far cry 6
you need a RTX 3060 or better for this game
start a new game after you update your drivers for a video card that does not exist
My game has been running perfectly fine on high since i started playing, no fps drops, my gpu never overheated etc....
Unfortunately i cannot afford a 3080 for now, i need a better cpu/motherboard first, and i won't be able to upgrade my pc for the next few weeks.
It seems you were right however, my save file must have gotten corrupted, since everything is fine after loading a new game.
I have deleted my old save game and deactivated that stupid cloud save function and will wait until I have better specs if I encounter the same problem again.
Thank you very much for the help, and have a good one :)
again good luck i hope you find your fix man and hope that i led you on the right path
so you can finally enjoy this game .. yes its a v ram hog

a clean driver install is always best
even Nvidia hosts this guys software on its own forums for getting a clean video driver install (or used to as far back as i can remember )
DDU is a great tool for removing old pieces of left over drivers an getting the proper ones installed for your GPU
also for some card as old as a GTX 1060 seek out older drivers ..they may be more stable ..hell im still using 2 yr old drivers for my 3060 .. works fine
my gtx 1060 in the bedroom PC works fine with 4 yr old drivers ,,but i dont play fc 6 on it ,,just use that system anymore as a HTPC
(home theater with a 4 K tv )
you will see little to no benefit with new Nvidia drivers on a GPU that old .. they only optimize for the new gen GPU's
\and yes there never was a GTX 1060 ti
only the GTX 1060 6 gig card
and the GTX 1060 3 gig model which was really not worth buying at all
look it up here

I will do the same. Thank you very much.
I will check everything later when i come back from work. Thanks again
