Save's all lost

I just played and the game weirdly glitched and closed to the mainmenu. Didn't let me continue anymore and threw a "Granite 2000000" or so error.

I closed the game, reopened and bamm, no more save game. Can only start a new game! Don't tell me it's all gone?! Any way to get a hold of my save?

did you back up your save files or rely on cloud service to do so ?

never trust a cloud man !

turn off the ubi connect cloud save option in ubi connect settings

always back up your own save files ... get game save manager or do it manually every once in a while

you might be able to recover a lost cloud save on ubi connect i cant say for sure but see this old video it may help

Thanks a lot for this. I didn't knew I can turn off the ubi connect cloud option. Valuable lessons learned I guess :(

My folder is empty, so I think I'm out of luck. Super frustrating.

But thanks again for trying to help. Appreciate it!

Add more useless security! This is yet another reason I allow NONE near my PC. And cloud is just there for back up. I do this manually. So, When I load a back up save , the cloud will ask which I want to use. Disabling it will not fix crash issues.......... I have never had a crash - loose save in my over 25 years playing on PC. And I never buy a game from a 2nd party= too many issues. EPIC gave an EA game away Thursday. So it uses 2 partys . So when I tried to play it EA said I do not own the game! Uninstalled it! The funny thing is I only have ONE account for every service. There will never be an error there. And Epic automatically linked the game to my "ONLY" EA account! Thankfully it was free. and can careless.

AND yes Some crashes will destroy ALL saves LOCAL and cloud! This happens when the game is doing a save , and a crash happens! Nothing will fix this! Power outage at this time will do the same thing.
