Is Far Cry 6 more like Far Cry 3, 4, or 5 ?

I noticed I'm enjoying these games less as they go along (not including 1 and 2 in this assessment.). Far Cry 3 so far has been by far my favourite, then 4, and I just went back to playing 5 to maybe finish it , but might not bother.
So I am wondering what are the game mechanics like in Far Cry 6 ? what previous game in the series is it most like ?

Core game mechanics are pretty much the same, only in the next chapter (7) they will change the core gameplay (and finally kill the franchise).
But as you rightly said - enjoying these games is another question. 3 4 5 are the best games in the series with 4 being the best: 4 it is the ONLY part with amazing arena, best weapon pack, flying vehicles were finally introduced, outpost defense quests were introduced, etc etc etc.
Both New Dawn and 6 - is the abomination of this series, they are not only THE WOKE GARBAGE with "strong and independent women", lgbt trash characters, etc etc, but also with reatarded gameplay changes like enemy and weapon levels (where you can not damage an enemy if his level is higher than yours or your weapons), resource grinding, removing talents (and changing them for clothes ), weapons pack is THE most disgusting in the entire gaming history (weapons look like they were handmade by retarded person), etc etc etc. These 2 games are the last straw before they kill the franchise in 7, they are intended for woke weirdos and can't be enjoyed by real FAR CRY fans.

Far Cry 6 is identical to 5, but with a less interesting story (feels more like a giant side quest), and it's a lot buggier...

On the up side, it's more diverse and there are more women in the game, which drives Republicans up the wall. "Woke! WOKE! WoKe!!" **heads explode**

Far Cry 5 + ND being my favorites , those seem to have some continuity in reappearinng characters from previous series ( and getting the corresponding mods helps their replayability ie Resistance Mod FC5, ScavangerMod FCND; Libertad FC6)

IMHO Never ever will FC6 generate such articles as the above BUT FC6 is still fun with far Cry mayhem similar with what you are familar with, improving in some areas, backwards in others (AI bots DO NOT drive you around as in FC 5 / ND so no rat patrol/ drive bys with you as shooter),

FC6 has the worlds best crappiest tank in the world, the Soviet made/ licensed T55, the most-produced tank in history, and you can steal one. With an ai bot as MG gunner, ( I got the Libertad Mod and spawned an AI bot companion) me as driver a lot of Cain can be raised, blasting things and colliding with enemy trucks that break like bottles against its armor. But not invincible, I lost a few tanks with me as the barbacue, once a fire fight gets going the game frequently spawns on more enemies classic Far Cry style and unless one moves away quickly, one can be overcome rapidly.

Im not going to give away too much but its open world, the map seems all accessable (except for the "tutorial" part at the start) and Im drivng around to see what I can see. I got the FC5 Dan Romer /Hammock music to work in the game and yes just cruising...

There is a political bent which has some players wishing they can instead work for El Presidente Antón Castillo. There is a "chaotic" tone to some of leaders on side you are working for, at the very least, once El Presidente is gone, the place will probably probably disentigrate into factions battling for control. As it is I have mixed feelings about killing these handsome looking men and women in uniform in FC 6 compared to others in the franchise (and there are aLOT of women).

FC series really needs to think about a CAPTURE enemy mechanism rather than "kill all"

It's 3>5>4>2>1 for me. But I skipped 6. I don't know, nothing about it excited me. Thought a few times about picking it up, but there's been enough other games still so far to keep me away. I was thinking of picking this up, but then remembered Horizon: Forbidden West comes to PC in like 3 weeks, so I'll wait it out. Still. Should I play this? 3 and 5 wear both peak for me. Very hard to pick one over the other for me, and 4 was solid fun too.

I don't know, just looking at the promos it looks like a ton happens in urban areas and so I skipped out cause if I want open work urban, I'll play cyberpunk and just go full ham on that ♥♥♥♥.
