I believe it's a game issue, not an Nvidia issue as I use my same video card for every game I play, but only have the problem with this one game.
However, in my search for a solution I found that those who have this problem, were using Nvidia cards. Unfortunately, no one who has had this problem has found a fix, whatever the cause.
My solution is to set the Multiple Displays setting in Windows to 'Show only on 2' (or 'Show only on 1') while I'm playing the game. It doesn't matter which screen I use, so long as I only use one. The game can't figure out what to do with the mouse when using 'Extend these displays'
