100 times the same question, why you dont scroll some pages back? Sure, you can change audio (spoken language and subtitles).

i found one thread with the same question, but didn't find the answer I was looking for, there is the setting for spoken language in the settings in game, but it doesn't have any options for you to select, so I'm very confused, I know you are supposed to be able to change the spoken language in game

how about you actually go play the game first? what do you think i am a freaking idiot? there isn't any option next to the "audio language" setting for you to select, and as far as i know this could have something to do with steam, im posting here looking for people with similar issue. i'll be honest with you i played a pirated version of this game back when it first came out and that version allowed me to change audio language.

Might be a Steam issue (files not downloaded etc);

Right click FC 6 in Steam---Properties---Language---Change to the one you want.
Maybe you have to start the game/Steam again.

If that doesn't work you have to go Ubi-account.

Go to games---click FC 6---Properties---Select lanuage for this game.
You might have to download files here and maybe restart the game/Ubi-launcher/Steam before it works.

Try the first fix first.

Changing language in steam works, but as you know it also changes all the menu language, and I still can't independently select audio language

Also I don't think you are able to change language for games bought on steam in Ubi Connect, at least I can't, not only for FC6, but also for Ghost Recon Breakpoint and The Crew 2 that I bought on steamaa

It is all or nothing. You can't have one audio language without the entire games, menus and subtitles that same language.

Maybe. but whats the point??

Players that understand english ok use the english interface and maybe subtitles for their language.

If they don't understand english they use the full package.

Whats the point of like russian audio voice if you can read the subs in russian??

Or whats the point with like russian subs german menus and chinese audio voice??

I just don't agree with you.

It's all about that you can play the game if you don't understand the game main language
(english).

first of all, it's not about whether i use it or not, i paid the money for this game then i should have all the features that this game has, including the ability to change audio language, because it's a feature present in the version you buy from Ubisoft store

second of all, i want to have Spanish audio to increase the immersive feeling of the game, so what? why can I not?

Like yeah thanks for your suggestions on how to fix it but I disagree with your point

Be sure to mark this as a topic answer because what I am about to say will make you go wtf.

have you tried doing it in the main menu? Doing it in-game doesn't work. I see the audio language there. I have to warn you, the dubs are kinda cringe.

yes yes i have tried doing it in the main menu and there is nothing next to "audio language" setting, nothing, there was supposed to be different languages next to it but now it's empty, this is not my first day playing video game

But it is your first time attempting to change the language. When it is empty that means you don't have the language pack installed. :squirtmeh:

Open Ubisoft Connect
Select Far Cry 6
Click on Properties
Under ‘General’, you will see ‘Select the desired language for this game:‘
Set it to the language of your choice
If you want Spanish, set it to Español (LATAM).
As soon as you do so, a 2-3 GB download should take place
If a download doesn’t start, then just click on the ‘icon with three line’ in the top-left corner
Select ‘Go offline’ and then ‘Go online’
Basically, the download is for the extra language pack

Since everything is related to ubiconnect and not steam, you should try that. Also to be on the safe side, launch the game through ubi connect, steam will still show up you are in fc 6 still since its linked unless you never link the two.

thanks for the advice, but I don't think you can change language in Ubi Connect, nor can you change things like install location, because the game is purchased on steam. I can't change language and install location on Ubi Connect for other Ubi games I bought on steam as well :crying_yeti:

And no, I don't think I'm missing any file, because when I switch language in steam setting (which changes both text and audio language), the corresponding audio language plays normally
